“If it’s about money, I’ll pay for her, so wouldn’t it be better not to make a fuss like this I can’t bear watching because you’re making so much fuss in the street.”

At Ravia’s words, the owner of the store raised an eyebrow.

“Who are you to interfere I’m going to catch the thief who stole my food! I have to teach this wench a lesson…!”

“So…you won’t take my money”

The owner suddenly became quiet at Ravia’s quick rebuttal.

He was overwhelmed by his anger for a while, but he finally returned to his senses.

Ravia didn’t miss the opening and continued.

“That kid surely has no money.

It may be satisfying to brawl here, but won’t it be you who loses money in the end”

“That’s….that’s right.”

The store owner suddenly became polite.

After his agitation subsided, he quickly realized that the person in front of him was not an ordinary individual.

‘The way she dresses and speaks is surely…’

Is she a noble But there’s no way a noble would roam around Bluewell Street.

If the shopkeeper had often dealt with a nobleman, he might have realized it quickly, but unfortunately, he was a person who had lived in slums all his life and just recently moved to Bluewell.

So the best he could think was that she was an executive in an organization.

That alone must have been quite overwhelming for him.

‘I can tell what you’re thinking.’

And so Ravia read the store owner like an open book.

She had already calculated everything the moment she decided to interfere.

Ravia took out a gold coin and slipped it inside the shop owner’s apron pocket.

It’s not like the crepe needed to be sprinkled with gold dust, so this must be enough to buy something else.

When he saw the gold coin inside his pocket, the shop owner’s face brightened instantly.

“Thank you, thank you, my Lady! I don’t know how to repay your kindness!”

“That’s something the child should say, not you.

So why don’t you return to your store If you keep standing here, no guest will go to your store.”

“Ah! Yes! Then, good bye!”

The gold coin had completely erased all memory of the child, and he quickly disappeared from Ravia’s sight.

Perhaps because he didn’t want to deal with someone from an organization.

Fortunately, no one seemed to notice her identity yet.

‘Had I met people who frequently deal with nobles or really high-ranking executives of the organization, I would’ve been caught right away.’

Ravia turned around as soon as the store owner disappeared, looking for the child.

“You’re so amazing, Sister!”

The child stretched her legs comfortably on the street, perhaps because she had already calmed down while Ravia talked to the shop owner.

The green hair framing her jawline fluttered whenever the child shook her tiny head.

It was a calm she didn’t expect from a child who was just beaten by someone twice her size.

Ravia smiled and reached out to the child.

“It’s not that amazing.

By the way, are you okay”

“I’m fine.

If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have been okay…ah! I must be very unlucky today!”

“Didn’t you say you left your money behind”

“I’m telling the truth.

Had he let me go to fetch someone, he wouldn’t have gone nuts like that, but someone who’s born in a slum generally has a lot of doubts…”

As expected, the man was from a slum.

But it was fortunate that the child was not a beggar.

“But it’s fine now since it’s well resolved.

Be careful on your way home.

“Yes.

Thank you for helping me!”

Perhaps the child had an apathetic personality, but everything from her voice to expression was indifferent, and she quickly disappeared in the opposite direction from Ravia.

“What a bold kid!”

Looking at her clothes and actions, it didn’t seem she was from the slum.

Her vibrant green hair also didn’t seem like those who lived in a slum area.

Even though it was unlikely that they would meet again, for some reason, Ravia had a hard time taking her gaze off the child.

It was almost tea time, and she left something at home.

‘I still have one place to visit.’

She had to hurry.

Shaking off her jade-like hair, the girl entered the mansion.

Recognizing the girl, the man bowed his body.

“You’re back, Miss Rette.”

“Yeah.

What about Herod”

“He’s inside.”

“Open it!”

“Alright.

You look in a good mood today.”

“Do I look like that”

“You used to kick the door open.”

“It’s about time I stop doing that.

My knees hurt!”

“I think that’s a great idea!”

The man smiled softly and opened the door for Rette.

Just as he said, Herod was sitting at a desk reading something.

“Rette What brings you here”

“I have something to do.

By the way, what’s that in your hand Are you in a hurry”

Rette knew right away when she saw the blue note in Herod’s hand.

In their circle, the blue note was sent only in a very urgent situation using a fast messenger.

So it must have contained something important, but Herod just shrugged, carelessly tossing the note away.

“Oh, the Central Store contacted me.

It’s nothing important.”

He put down his glasses and approached Rette.

He then lifted and placed her on the desk.

Just like the man before, he tilted his head as if wondering.

“Whenever Rette appears, she usually asks me to kill somebody, but I see that you’re in a good mood today.

Do you perhaps have another request”

“It feels nice that you’re always looking forward to what I say.”

“Haha.”

“I thought people from slums weren’t that bad since they can make delicious crepes, but they’re just another hot-headed trash.”

“Oh, is it the crepe store in Bluewell Street that you mentioned before”

“Yeah.

That bastard hit me!”

The smile faded from Herod’s face.

But that left him with a question.

Why was Rette in a good mood even after all that

The question was instantly answered.

“But…they say even trash has some use.

Thanks to that bastard, I met an angel…”

The emerald eyes that matched her hair color glistened.

Rette then muttered in a dreamy voice.

“Who was that sister, I wonder I should’ve asked for her name, but I couldn’t because he beat me ….”

“Did someone help you It’s been a long time since something like that happened in Bluewell.”

“She’s not from Bluewell.

She’s a noble.

I could tell from the way she speaks.”

That foolish jerk seemed to not know because he was the type to get lost even when there was a road sign in front of him.

Rette, who added inwardly, clapped.

“That’s why I want to meet her again! Will you help me, Herod”

However, unlike Rette’s bright expression, Herod looked a little troubled.

“Nobles are quite bothersome…”

“I know it’s bothersome.

That’s why I’m asking you for a favor!”

“I know that much, but…”

Herod paused, thinking about something, and eventually raised his hand.

“Okay.

I’ll look for her since she’s the one who helped you.

Tell me what she looks like.”

“She has very bright and vivid blonde hair.

Her eyes are amethyst, and she looks like in her 20’s.”

As she continued the description, Herod’s eyebrows creased.

“…I see.

That’s enough.

I already have someone in mind.”

“What Already Who is it”

“I can’t tell you yet.

Before that, you’ll have to do what I asked you to do first.”

“Oh, about Ravia Leontine”

Herod smiled relaxedly at Rette’s answer.

“Yeah.

I made a bet with him just as you told me.

Tidwell looked at me like I was a fool, and he said ‘do you know how many times i’ve been poisoned this month alone’”

“That’s why I told you to make a bet.”

“Yeah.

We bet, and he seemed to keep it in mind since you were the one who said it.”

Herod shrugged lightly and circled the desk for a while before returning to where he was sitting previously.

“I’m sure what I was asking for was how to get Ravia Leontine into my hands.”

“Are you questioning my prediction”

“No.

I’m just curious about the outcome.”

Rette nodded and opened a small container sitting atop Herod’s desk.

She then threw a handful of violet-colored candies in her mouth and continued speaking with her mouth full.

“As I said before, I am not sure how the prophecies will flow.

Because it creates some kind of butterfly effect.

Even my teacher often said that he couldn’t expect a prophecy to flow in a certain way.”

“But you can weigh the prophecy with the penalty given to you.”

Before Rette could take another candy, he gently put the lid back on and raised his index finger.

“Rette, how many years did you lose this time”
